Measures to support accessibility

K-WAK takes the following measures to ensure accessibility of K-WAK:

  • Include accessibility throughout our internal policies.

  • Seek feedback from those with disabilities about the websites functionality and accessibility.

  • Make the appropriate changes to make sure the website is easily accessible for all people.

 

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. K-WAK is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Known limitations for K-WAK:

  1. Feedback from others: Images on the website did not have text alternatives because Due to lack of knowledge and experience of how to make the necessary improvements. Seeking the relative help and assistance, as well as implementing these new strategies to the website, to ensure it is accessible to all..
